Police seek ID of woman found in Wainibuku river

Police are working to identify a woman whose body was found floating in a river near a home in Naidiridiri, Wainibuku, this morning.

The victim is believed to be an iTaukei woman aged between 30 and 40.

Crime Scene Investigation officers conveyed the body to the Mokani Morgue. A post-mortem examination will determine the cause of death.

Investigations continue.
