A post-mortem examination has found that the death of Sakiasi Ose Radravu was linked to a pre-existing medical condition, according to the Fiji Police Force.
The examination was conducted on Saturday, June 6, with immediate family members present for formal identification before the procedure.
Police said family members were briefed immediately afterwards on the cause of death.

The force also confirmed that Mr Radravu was taken to Valelevu Police Station for questioning on the night of April 23, 2026, in relation to an alleged burglary case.
He was kept in custody and later released.
Police said it had also been confirmed with the family that no official report alleging assault had been lodged following his arrest.
To ensure transparency, the case file will be forwarded to a Resident Magistrate together with the findings and recommendations for a possible inquest.
However, the Fiji Police Force said it would continue its internal investigation into the conduct of 12 police officers involved in the raid and their failure to adhere to established processes and procedures during the burglary investigation.
A directive has been issued to investigate the officers involved in the initial arrest and detention, as well as the lack of supervisory oversight.
The Fiji Police Force acknowledged that non-compliance with due process continued to contribute to complaints against police officers and the organisation.
As a result, the Internal Affairs Unit has been directed to ensure internal oversight mechanisms are strictly enforced by middle managers, with disciplinary action to be taken against those who fail to comply.
