In a separate alleged drowning incident, the body of a 25-year-old man from Nasirotu Village was recovered from the Waidina River yesterday afternoon.

A 16-year-old student has gone missing after swimming in the Wainibula River, as search efforts resume today.
The Fiji Police Force said the case was reported at the Korovou Police Station and involves a student from Wailevu Village.
Initial search efforts were carried out but yielded no results.
