Three arrested in separate drug busts
All suspects remain in custody as the seized substances have been sent for analysis.

Three men were arrested for alleged cases of unlawful possession of illicit drugs, believed to be methamphetamine.
Fiji Police Force said the arrests were made in Votualevu, Grantham Road in Raiwaqa and Belo Street in Samabula on the 1st and 2nd of January 2026.
"The first arrest was conducted on the morning of new years day along Grantham Road, whereby a 30-year-old man residing in Nanuku Settlement, was found with several zip lock bags containing white substances believed to be methamphetamine," Fiji Police said in a media statement.

"Also seized were smoking apparatuses, dried leaves believed to be marijuana and cash believed to be proceeds of crime."
Meanwhile, the second case involved a 25 year old man who was arrested with clear plastics containing white substances believed to be methamphetamine in Votualevu.
"In the third arrest also on the 2nd of January, a 37 year old man residing in Makoi was arrested with a zip lock plastic containing white substances believed to be methamphetamine."
All suspects remain in custody as the seized substances have been sent for analysis.
