Traditional Ceremony Brings Back Memories For Adi Kunea Lalabalavu

The vakasenuqanuqa ceremony accorded to the Tui Cakau and Speaker of Parliament, Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu, brings back memories of yesteryears for Adi Kunea Lalabalavu. Adi Kunea is the daughter of the late Tui Cakau Ratu Ratavo Ganilau Lalabalavu.

Today, the Province of Cakaudrove, comprising 14 tikina (districts), are celebrating.

It's a joyous occasion that the province last enjoyed more than 50 years ago, when Ratu Penaia Ganilau became the President of Fiji in 1987.
