Two Ba men arrested after alleged discovery of explosive materials

Two men from Ba are in police custody after officers allegedly found explosive materials in the vehicle they were travelling in.

The pair, who sell fish in Ba, were stopped by officers on patrol in Ba’s Chinatown yesterday afternoon.

A search of their vehicle allegedly uncovered several sticks believed to be dynamite, along with fuses.

Officials from the Ministry of Resources Department will conduct examinations on the seized items.

The two men remain in custody as investigations continue.
