Two police officers allegedly assaulted on road patrol in Nausori
Complaint lodged after officers reportedly confronted by a group outside a minimart.

Another police report has been lodged following an alleged assault on two Police officers who were patrolling at Vuci Road last night.
It is alleged that a Corporal and a Police Constable from the Crime Intel ED, had pulled up to the Muktar Minimart to gather information about a case when they were approached by a few iTaukei men.
It is alleged that one of the men asked for the duo’s IDs claiming to be a Police officer as well.
The two officers were then allegedly assaulted by the group.
The officers filed their complaints at the Nausori Police Station.
Queries were sent to Police about the matter.
