University Of Fiji Graduation Ceremony Postponed

UniFiji Graduation Ceremony that was planned for 6th December, 2019 has been postponed.
This decision was taken by The University of Fiji after they received advice from the Permanent Secretary of Education, Heritage and Arts, Ms. Allison Burchell who was advised by the Ministry of Health and Medical Services with regards to the measles outbreak. The University was asked to consider cancelling its graduation taking into account the seriousness of the matter linked to the spread of the infection.

As such, the December graduation has been postponed and will be combined with the graduation ceremony planned for 27th March, 2020.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sushila Chang sent out an email to all the stakeholders, including the graduating students explaining the situation and apologised for any inconvenience caused.
"The seriousness of this matter warrants caution and careful consideration,” Professor Chang said.
“Graduating students will, of course, be provided completion letters,” she concluded.
The students who would be graduating this December can email exams@unifiji.ac.fj to request for a copy of their completion letter.
