Fiji continues to be a popular destination for cruise ships, with Suva and Lautoka ports welcoming vessels from all over the world.

Tourism Fiji Chief Operating Officer, Leigh Howard said the steady stream of cruise arrivals played a significant role in supporting Fiji’s economy.

“Contributing to tourism revenue, and providing opportunities for local businesses, from tour operators to artisans,” Mr Howard said

“We are excited to welcome several ships, and we are continuously working with cruise lines to enhance the visitor experience.

“Fiji’s appeal as a destination is growing, and we are seeing increasing interest from both traditional cruise liners and expedition vessels, particularly those catering to niche markets such as adventure and eco-tourism, which aligns with our broader tourism strategy.”

Mr Howard said Fiji continues to be a popular destination for cruise tourism, offering unique experiences for passengers exploring our islands.

“We are committed to providing exceptional service and unforgettable experiences to all visitors.

“The consistent arrival of cruise ships reflects the growing interest in Fiji as a premier travel destination in the South Pacific.”
