$30k To Boost Suva Netball
Suva Netball would undertake more community outreach programmes, plan for a Central rally tournament and a proposed Pinktober Classic Masters Cup set for October.

NEWWORLD IGA renewed their sponsorship with Suva Netball Association for the 2019 season.
NEWWORLD IGA head of merchandise Jodie Hart handed over a cheque of $30,000 to SNA president Timaima Vulimailaucala in Suva yesterday.
Hart acknowledge Suva Netball for their development programme by involving young girls.
“Starting from young girls, it’s important to involve young women and young girls in the sport from age of nine to open grade,” she said.
“There is also men’s teams and mix teams which will also make things interesting, we hope to get in businesses houses.”
Vulimaicala acknowledged NEWWORLD IGA for their support.
“We are extremely grateful and pleased to receive this sponsorship commitment from NEWWORLD IGA for our 2019 season,” the former national netball goal shooter said.
“It speaks volume of the dedication NEWWORLD IGA has for the sport in the country.
“Their combined interest with SNA officials to see the development of netball in Suva central communities.”
