The Fiji Police Force won the FMF Rise Fiji Rise Ratu Sukuna Bowl 2020 defeating the Subrails Republic of Fiji Military Force 32-8 at the ANZ Stadium, Suva, yesterday.
And convincingly, they did it in clinical fashion capping off 2020 on a high.
Not only they outmuscled and overpowered their counterparts from Queen Elizabeth Barracks in the main event, they also made a scoop winning cricket, football, netball, volleyball, oldies rugby and athletics competitions.
What happened: RFMF fullback Eparama Senikuriciri put them in the 3-0 lead from a penalty.
Police bid to equalise by first five-eighth Meli Kurisaru fell short but was spot in his second attempt, 3-3.
Police were denied a try in the 30th minute for a forward pass before halfback Josefa Kuricuva dived over for their first try which was converted by Kurisaru.

Police started off strong in the second half, with the forwards leading the charge resulting in their second try.
Kurisaru missed the conversion for the 15-3 lead.
The troops from QEB regrouped but the men in blue were stern in defence.
Prop Ron Katonivere and hooker, Veremalua Vugakoto, were the first players to be substituted in the 50th minute by Ratunaisa Navuma and Timoci Sauvoli.
The Blues extended their lead 18-3 with a drop goal from Terio Tamani.
Aporosa Saukuru scored their third try which was converted by Tamani for the 25-3 lead.
RFMF scored their first try through Olympian Apisai Domolailai, 25-8 RFMF.
But Police had the last laugh with Jone Navori scoring the last try which was converted by Tamani.
