The Misiwane Narube-captained Rooster Chicken Ba football side will not leave any stone unturned in their must-win clash against Aroma Tigers Cafe Lautoka on Sunday.
This is their return leg of the Pillay Garments Champion vs Champion series to be played at Churchill Park, Lautoka.
Ba wants to avenge their 2-1 loss against Lautoka in their first clash last Sunday.
The Men-in-Black has to win by two clear goals to claim the series while Lautoka needs a draw to win the title for the third time.
Ba coach Sunil Kumar said the players have been urged to keep the ball longer knowing the strength of the Lautoka side.
“We have to keep possession longer and play from there,” he said.
“We know Lautoka is an experienced side and it will not be easy to play them on their home ground.
“If you look at the Lautoka team, they are mostly national reps but we do respect them. We can match them by taking our chances.”
Ba youngsters Penisoni Tirau and Ruel Grayven made their debut for the senior side by coming off the bench.
“They are Ba boys and it is not hard for them to gel in the team. We used them as where the need was and they were used to it.”
Kumar said the team is expecting a lot of Ba fans in the stands to cheer them on.
“The fans have been there, to support the team. It’s not the end we have this weekend to sort it out.”
The side will be banking on regulars like Mohammed Raheem, Gulam Razool, Sailasa Ratu, Etonia Dogolau, Suli Tawanakoro, and Sailasa Ratu to name a few.
The match kicks-off at 3pm.
