Ba Provincial Free Bird Institute Under-18 rugby team’s dream run in the Vodafone Deans Trophy continues after a 12-5 win over Nasinu Secondary School in the first quarterfinal at the HFC Bank Stadium, this morning.
The two-time Fiji Secondary Schools rugby league champions reached the competition’s semifinal for the first time.
The Western Zone champions led 5-0 at halftime after loosehead prop Timoci Natabua scored an unconverted try.
Ba Pro increased their lead to 12-0 when Jone Naiceru dotted down their second try with the conversion going over. Nasinu Secondary fought back and scored a try to lanky locl Eroni Waqa from a forward rush.
