It was all back to hard work for the Fiji Airways Fijian 7s men’s team yesterday.
Head coach Gareth Baber took the side through a tough training session in Sydney, Australia, to bring them back to focus on this weekend’s Sydney 7s.
Baber said there was a lot of fatigue in the side obviously after the hard work in the weekend then followed by the travel to Sydney.
“Most the players were already in the celebration mood so we made sure to remind them that they have another huge responsibility this weekend,” he said.
“We do need to bring people back to the ground about winning the next tournament.
“That is by getting back to humility and what’s expected by our work.
With these Fijian boys we are mostly driven by the next challenge and that is quiet refreshing because it’s all about winning games.”
