Ballantine Memorial School is on track to the national schoolgirls rugby quarterfinals of the Weet-Bix Raluve competition.

This was after they registered their second win, 15-5, against Lami High School at the Marist Brothers High School grounds, Flagstaff in Suva on Saturday.

BMS captain Luisa Namarua said they were grateful to have their own competition for schoolgirls.

"It was a tough game," Namarua said.

"Lami High gave us a good game, they had the height and built but we are glad that the game was on our side.

"We did not lose hope and this win sets a platform for the rest of the games especially to win the inaugural Raluve trophy."

BMS won 19-5 against Sacred Heart College in the first round of games.
