One of Fiji’s biggest retail outlets, Bargain Box is sponsoring the sugar city side for the Rooster Chicken Battle of the Giants tournament this weekend.
Bargain Box managing director, Ratish Roy yesterday while handing out an undisclosed sum to Lautoka Football Association president Shalendra Prasad that it was part of their social responsility.
“The total cost of all the works for a team for a team participating in the B.O.G is close to $40,000, we are sponsoring Lautoka with a generous amount,” Roy said.
Roy said he witnessed Lautoka’s performance in winning the recent Fiji FACT tournament is backing up the side to also pull off the Battle of the Giants tournament.
