Lautoka are on track to win the Vodafone Fiji FACT after they walloped Tavua 8-2 in their pool opener at Churchill Park, Lautoka last night. The Blues must beat Labasa tonight if they are to book a spot in the semi-final.
Lautoka strikers Benjamin Totori and Samuela Nabenia scored three goals each while Kavaia Rawaqa and Samuela Drudru scored a goal each in the win.
Labasa manager Nilesh Lal said they are waiting on coach, Anand Sami to draw up a game plan on how best they can tackle Lautoka.
In today’s matches defending champions Rewa must beat Nadi to qualify while Suva and the Babasiga Lions must bounce back to keep their hopes alive.
