It is matter of learning from today’s 34-10 loss to the Blues and come out prepared for next weekend’s Super Round clash against Moana Pasifika.
That was the gist of Swire Shipping Fijian Drua captain Meli Derenalagi’s interview after today’s Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific opener.
“We’ve a lot of work to do,” he said.
“We’ve to learn from our mistakes and get ready for the next round.”
Discipline is an issue for the Fijians as they gave away number of penalties in the first half for offside, failing to roll away from the ball and infringing in the scrums.
The hosts punished them by turning it to points as they led 29-3 at halftime.
The Drua’s only points came from a penalty converted by Isaiah Armstrong-Ravula.
The 20-year-old debutant was also yellow carded for deliberately holding on to a Blues player.
In the second half the Drua came out a much improved side but was unfortunate not to score a couple of tries due to the Blues desperate tackles.
The Drua’s only try was scored by Leone Rotuisolia after it was set-up by Tevita Ikanivere with Isikeli Rabitu landing the conversion.
