The Macuata rugby women’s team is working hard during training as they want to be in their best shape for Saturday’s Royal Tea Ranadi Cup quarterfinal against Rewa.
Macuata is hosting Rewa at Subrail Park in Labasa.
Macuata head coach, Motu Lalagavesi, said they need to improve on certain aspects of their game if they are to win.

“We’ve been touching up all these areas,” she told SUNsports yesterday.
She emphasised the need for them to improve on the ruck and to effectively recycle the ball.

Macuata had dominated their round robin matches with their only to Cakaudrove this season.

Lalagavesi said they respect the Rewa side because they would also be gunning for a semi-final spot. She hopes the weather would remain fine because it suits their style of play. The match kicks-off at 10am.
