Chloe David (3rd from left), not only helped Suva Grammar School claim the girl's title in the Suva Zone II competition, she also ran an impressive time.
The intermediate girl's l00 metres sprint champion clocked 11.25seconds (in manual time), to claim gold.
The last record stood at 12seconds, set in 2008 by Selai Likumada of Suva Grammar.
The Vanuatu native said: "I feel so excited because all the hard work and training paid off on the tracks.
Really happy with my achievement.
I will try and take the Blue Ribbon at the Coca-Cola Games.
