Christine set to start on wing

Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua winger Adita Milinia Christine is in the starting lineup against the Western Force in round three of the Super Rugby Women clash at Churchill Park in Lautoka tomorrow.
The 19-year-old believes that their undaunting task should propel them to gain their second victory as this game marks their final pool game at home.
“We just need to have the faith and work in unity,” she said.
“We don’t underestimate the Force this weekend. The team should be humble and at the same time work hard from the first whistle.”

She hails from Malevu in Nadroga and shares maternal links to Nasama, Nadroga.
Christine attended Sigatoka Andhra Primary School then Jasper Williams High School.
An athlete (mainly 4x 400 meters and long jump respectively) while at school, she played netball and she took up rugby in 2021.
“I have been playing rugby in my third year and this year marks my second appearance with Drua. Let’s trust the process,” she said.
Her favourite bible verse is Matthew 18:20.
She lists karaoke as her hobby.
