Drasuna is Acting Netball Fiji CEO

Fijian Drua’s personal development manager Akanisi Lupe Drasuna is the interim chief executive officer for Netball Fiji (NF).
Drasuna is also the vice-president technical for the national netball body. This was confirmed yesterday by president RubyAnn Sorovaki .
Sorovaki said NF decided to take additional steps to ensure they find the best possible candidate to lead the organisation.
“In the interim, Drasuna is over-seeing administrative affairs on a part time basis,” she said.
Sorovaki added that Drasuna is assisted by other executive com-mittee members in respective specialist areas to ensure continuity and uninterrupted service to the netball communities and stakeholders.

“Netball Fiji will share an official announcement once the appoint-ment is finalised.”
Sorovaki said NF would also be readvertising the Pearls head coach role at the end of next week after deliberations and a further review of the requirements of the role.
