Epi Kolinivala's Legacy

I did not finish my dinner (in Singapore) on Monday when I was told that Qase has passed away.

These were the words of Fiji men’s rugby sevens forward Ponipate Loganimasi, when asked about the death of his mentor and Kombat Uluinakau Rugby Club founder Epi Kolinivala.

Speaking to SUNsports at Nadi International Airport yesterday, an emotional Loganimasi said: “Without him (Kolinivala), I would not be where I am today.'

“He is no longer here with us but for me and the boys we should move on because that is what Qase wants of us to do.”
