Defending HSBC World Sevens Series champion Australia ended our five year-in-a- row winning streak at the Hong Kong Sevens last night.

The Aussies beat the Fiji Airways Fijian men’s sevens team 20-17 in the Cup final at the Hong Kong Stadium.

It was not easy for the Waisea Nacuqu-captained side as they struggled to beat South Africa 12-7 in the Cup quarterfinals.

Then in the semifinals, they beat Samoa 19-7 while Australia edged France 10-7.
