Fiji Faces South Africa In Tonight’s Quarters

The Fiji Airways Fiji men’s rugby sevens rugby team finished unbeaten in their pool games of the HSBC SVNS Series in Perth, Western Australia.
They will face South Africa in the Cup quarterfinal at 11pm tonight.
The Fijians beat New Zealand 21-14 this afternoon to book their spot in the quarterfinal.
New Zealand fielded their experienced players as they took a commanding 14-0 lead.
The Josua Vakurinabili captained-side kept their composure and managed a converted try to Ponipate Loganimasi right on halftime to trail 14-7.
In the second half nippy playmaker Terio Tamani came in for Waisea Nacuqu and in a moment of brilliance scored an individual try, which he converted to level the scores 14-14.
Both team battled it out as they looked for the winning points.
It came for Fiji, through winger Viwa Naduvalo who slipped through a gap to run in to score a try under the post with the conversion going over.
On Friday night, Fiji also came from behind to beat France 26-21 and Samoa 14-7.
