Fiji Navy Promotes Meli Derenalagi
Derenalagi has been promoted to the rank of Able Seaman with the Republic of Fiji Military Forces Naval Division.

World Rugby 7s Rookie of the year, Ratu Meli Derenalagi has been promoted to the rank of Able Seaman with the Republic of Fiji Military Forces Naval Division.
The Nawaka, Nadi native was honoured for his sensational performance in the 2018-19 World Sevens Series together with Fiji Airways Fijian 7s team manager Jone Niurua.
Niurua was also promoted to Chief Petty Officer.
The duo were hosted by fellow Naval officers at the Captain Stanley Brown Naval Base in Suva.
