The Fiji Possibles side were thrashed 82 - 40 by the New Zealand Invitational team in their first clash of the Quad Series training matches at the FMF Gymnasium in Suva yesterday.
In the second match, the Fiji Men's team defeated Fiji Probables 80-64.
Speaking to SUNSports, Fiji Possibles and Australian based goal keeper Solei Toganivalu, 18, said that playing against the NZ selection side was a good experience for the Pearls squad as they countdown to the Netball World Cup in Cape Town on July 28 to August 6.
"To be coached by Yvette (McClausand- Durie) is a blessing and an honour to get on the court and play our best," she said.
"We all learn from each other obviously, we overseas based players bring our knowledge from overseas and the local based share what they learn in Fiji."
