The Fiji Women’s Under-19 side worked on strengthening their defence yesterday and ways to improve their finishing against Samoa in tomorrow’s OFC Women’s U19 Championship semifinal clash.
Speaking to SUNsports, Fiji Women’s U19 head coach Angeline Chua said Samoa would be confident after their 4-3 upset win over Tahiti in the quarterfinal.

Chua highlighted that most of the Samoan players were based in either New Zealand or Australia.
“We’ve two players on the injury list but the rest are all good. We’ll see if the physio gives the green light for Luse and Seini to play on Wednesday,” she said.
Seini Vulagi suffered a collar bone injury while Luse Ratulele is recovering from a knee injury. Chua said Talica Tagi has recovered from a neck injury.
