For the first time, the Digicel Fiji Under-20 football side took to the Estadio San Juan del Bicentenario in San Juan, Argentina, this morning.

This is where they play their opening FIFA U20 World Cup clash against Slovakia at 9am Sunday (Fiji time).

Dubbed the Junior Bula Boys, they visited the stadium to familiarise themselves ahead of their Group B opener.

Defender Samuela Navoce who captained the side in the Oceania qualifying rounds, told Fiji FA Media, that making it to the World Cup was the most cherished moment of his football career.

Hailing from the chiefly village of Tavualevu in Tavua, Navoce is the man who is going to organise our defence.

“I want to play for my family, create upsets and gain respect as well and to make everyone proud,” the lanky left back said.

The Fijians are also grouped with top seed United States of America (USA) and Ecuador.
