Shameem, a renowned businessman, was among those who arrived on the Fiji Airways’ direct flight from Vancouver, Canada, to Nadi.
Naliva, after meeting up with Shameem, said he was ready to take on former IBO world super middleweight champion Renold Quinlan at Prince Charles Park, Nadi, on Saturday.
“My opponent was once a world champion, I respect him but I’m ready to show him a slice of home,” Naliva said.
Shameem said SPBP has brought home the biggest event of the year now is the time to produce Fijian world champions.
