Poor defence saw the Fiji Airways Fijian 7s team lose their three pool games at the Kitakyushu 7s in Japan yesterday.
The Saiasi Fuli-coached side failed to achieve their target of a top eight finish.
They were walloped by Ireland 31-10 before they suffered a 31-5 drubbing at the hands of USA and then were beaten 33-15 by England.
