Fijiana Players Get $10,000 Contracts
For the first time members of the Rooster Chicken Fijiana Drua squad for this year’s Super W will be contracted.

For the first time members of the Rooster Chicken Fijiana Drua squad for this year’s Super W will be contracted.
Each player in the 32-member squad receives $10,000 for the 98 days they’re involved in the Super W campaign.
This was announced yesterday by the Fiji Rugby Union at the Suva Civic Centre.
Australian High Commission Chargede’ Affairs to Fiji John Williams during the announcement at the Suva Civic Centre yesterday, said the connections between Australia and Fiji and the Pacific through rugby was a great example of this achievement.
“Sport is an enabler, particularly what could be done to support the development of women in sports in the Pacific,” Williams said.
