There is still a lot of improvement needed for Mount Carmel, before the second leg of the Super 7s Series.
Mount Carmel is one of the two Fijiana teams which consist of players in the extended training squad preparing for the Tokyo Olympics in July.
They won the Mobil Uprising 7s last weekend thrashing Hope Rugby, 30-5.
Fijana 7s coach, Saiaisi Fuli said: “It’s all about game execution from our team.
Tactically what we want to see is how well they execute our plays, patterns of attack especially set pieces, how composed they build their phases and suffocate the defenses and score tries.
“At the same time they apply the right technique in those areas.
“Decision making under pressure is vital for us moving forward, the more we are challenged in those areas and how they managed to deliver it which allows positive momentum and go forward balls.
He added: “In defense, we will continue to work hard on our tackle techniques and maintain tour discipline in the tackle and contact area.”
Mt Carmel players shared their $2000 prizemoney they won at the Mobil Uprising 7s.
The other teams w Striders, Seahawks, Hope and Army.
This was to help their preparation for the next tournament.
