Gonewai, Soli Scoop Blue Ribbon At Tailevu Zone
Ratu Kadavulevu School’s Jonetani Gonewai yesterday won the senior boys blue ribbon (100 metres final) event with the time of 11.09 seconds at the end of Day One of the Tailevu Zone at the HFC Bank Stadium.

Ratu Kadavulevu School’s Jonetani Gonewai yesterday won the senior boys blue ribbon (100 metres final) event with the time of 11.09 seconds at the end of Day One of the Tailevu Zone at the HFC Bank Stadium.
Dawasamu Secondary School’s Vetinia Soli claimed the senior girls 100 metres final after clocking 13.42 seconds.
The two day zone features seven schools in Tailevu North including giants RKS and Queen Victoria School.
Meanwhile underdogs St Vincent College and DSS confided that they were not participating to just make up numbers but were there on a mission to return with as many medals they can win.
