We are ready for whatever Natabua High School will throw at us in tomorrow’s Vodafone Deans Trophy Under-18 semifinal at Prince Charles Park, Nadi.

This was the gist of team manageress Bulou Vola Wainiqolo’s interview indicating that they respect their opponents and are going in as underdogs.

Speaking to SUNsports yesterday, Wainiqolo said playing in the West and taking into consideration the intense heat and the hard ground, it would be tough for them.

“Whatever, Natabua will dish out at Suva Grammar, we are prepared for it,” she said.

“Natabua is a good team, we respect and look up to them since the semifinals will be played in the West.”

Wainiqolo thanked former Suva Grammar students and supporters especially the parents of the U18 players for their endless support.

“On Saturday, we will again need the support of our fans and old scholars living in the Western Division to come out in numbers.”

She said getting a lot of support is crucial in their semifinal clash.

“Playing Natabua in Nadi on Saturday will not be easy. We are taking it one step at a time. We’ve been working on our mistakes and that gave us a good win in the quarterfinal. We have three players in the national Under-18 rugby team and they will be playing on Saturday.

“For Suva Grammar, we focus on character over talent so we support the boys going for national duties it won’t affect us. Winning is just icing on the cake, we will stick to our motto, which is character over talent. That will be the focus.”
