Fiji Airways Fijian 7s rep Aloesi Naduva is looking forward to cement his spot in the team for the remainder of the World Sevens Series.
The Naweni, Cakaudrove native was also awarded the World Rugby player of the final after scoring three tries in the 24-17 defeat of South Africa.
He drew inspiration from former players like Vione, Gau flyer Marika Vunibaka, and Isake Katonibau.
“I thank the players for their unity and the willpower to work together. My aim is to be in the 12- member team and I will continue to work harder,” he said.

“It was emotional moment for me as Hamilton was my second tournament and being named player of the final was quite special.
“I thank the Lord and former players that have been inspiring me such as Vunibuka, Koresi Ledua and Katonibau. Teamwork has motivated me, if there was no team effort I would not have scored those tries.”
He rates his teammate Kalioni Nasoko highly. He scored two tries after brilliant offloads from Yasawa native Nasoko.
“I do stick around with him a lot and we talk about what he does well in the rugby field,”Nasoko said.
“I read his play and he is a workhorse and a brilliant player.”
The next leg of the World Sevens Series is in Las Vegas on March 2-4 and Vancouver on March 10-11.
