Heavy Rain Calls Off Final

Curtis Mar and Rajnesh Prasad jointly shared the Kontiki Finanace Pineapple Cup prize money on Sunday at the Suva Bowl­ing club.

They were winners of the men’s division.

Mar and Prasad were awarded $350 each for their performance at the end of the two-day tournament. The final was not held because due to the heavy down pour; the Suva lawn was water logged and was in no condi­tion to hold competition.

Elizabeth Moceiwai won the women’s category with $200 while runner-up Losa­lini Tukai received $175.

Meanwhile Mummy Ap­ple winners were Saki and Krishn Singh. Elizabeth Moceiwai won the ladies cat­egory with Losalini Tukai as runner-up
