Individual Play, Poor Offloads Mar Fijiana Drua’s Big Win

The Rooster Chicken Fijiana Drua proved too strong for Force with a 45-17 win at Leichhardt Oval in Sydney, Australia, today.
The Drua have remained unbeaten in the Super W competition.
The Fijians led 45-0 at halftime but failed to score in the second half due to individual play and their ability to keep possession.
This should be a worry for head coach Senirusi Seruvakula as they are yet to face defending champs Waratahs and the Brumbies.
What Happened: The Fijiana Drua spread the ball outwide and ran the big Force forwards to the delight of their fans at the Leichhardt Oval.
In the 5 th minute, hooker Vika Matarugu showed great hands in scooping a pass to score the opening try with Merewalesi Rokouono hooking the conversion away.
The Fijians kept on the pressure with series of passing before flanker Teresia Tinanivalu broke away to score the second try with Rokouono
adding the extras 12-0.
In the 22 nd minute from a backline move centre Raijieli Laqeretabua sliced through the defence for a try with the conversion going over for a 19-0 lead.
Winger Vitaline Naikore extended Drua’s lead to 24-0 in the 24 th minute.
There was concern in the Drua camp when No.8 Sereima Leweniqila wasinjured but she recovered to continue on.
Speedster Kolora Lomani dotted down her first try from a backline move before Tinanivalu ripped the ball from a Force player to score her second try.
Both tries were converted for a 38-0 lead.
Right on halftime, full-back Timaima Ravisa showed her class as she zig zagged her way past four players to score under the post with the
conversion going over.

The Force struck immediately with an unconverted try to Zakiya Kereopa.
The Drua coach gave his eight reserves a run as he rested his top players.
Failing to keep possession and individual play saw Drua on the receiving end most of the second half.
Lock Rebecca Clough drove over for Force second try, which was not converted before Huia Swannell finished a backline move and Paihau
Pomare adding the extras.
