The Digicel national football team faces their biggest test against Papua New Guinea in tomorrow's OFC Women's Olympic Games qualifier in Apia, Samoa.

Dubbed the Fiji Kulas, they'll be out to avenge their loss to PNG in the final of the Pacific Games in Honiara, Solomon Islands, last December.

The Kulas opened their campaign with a 10-0 win over American Samoa on Wednesday while PNG drew with Solomon Islands 1-1.

"We understand the significance of this match, not only as an opportunity to avenge our previous loss but also as a pivotal moment in our quest for Olympic glory," said Kulas head coach Angeline Chua.

"Every member of the team is driven by a fierce determination to seize this moment and make the most of our time here in Apia.

"We've trained tirelessly for this, and now it's our chance to showcase our talent and resilience on the field."

Despite the impressive victory, Chua acknowledged the challenges ahead.

"We've a few players nursing minor injuries, but I'm confident they'll be ready for our next match against Papua New Guinea."

The winner of the competition books a spot in this year's Paris Olympic Games.
