Jasper Williams High School athletics squad received a major boost in their preparation for the Western Zone and later the Coca-Cola Games.

Jasper Williams High School athletics squad received a major boost in their preparation for the Western Zone and later the Coca-Cola Games.
CCC First Harbor Consultants stepped in yesterday with a donation of $3500 towards the athletes’ preparation.
CCC First Harbor Consultants general manager Liu Hongguang said for years while operating in Fiji they have played their part when it comes to corporate social responsibility.

“Jasper Williams High School is one of the Western division’s best contenders at the Coca-Cola Games,” he said.
“We are proud to support them with $3500 for their training camp and also on their basic needs such as meals.
“We hope the school will win the girl’s title after coming second in the last two years.”
Hongguang said this is a great way of strengthening the China-Fiji relations.
Jasper Williams High School principal Vanita Sharma Kumar said the money would be used to provide meals for their 80 athletes and also buying of their sporting gears in preparation towards the zone and Coke Games.
“We contacted a few companies for sponsorship and we are thankful to this company for sponsoring our athletics.
“This donation will be very well utilised as we are taking a very positive step towards helping build the sporting talents of our girls.”
