Competition favourites Kadavu takes on Cakaudrove in the Royal Team Ranadi Cup semi-final.

The Vatiseva Cavuru captained- Kadavu women’s rugby side thrashed Tavua 60-0 in their quarterfinal clash at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka, last Saturday.

Kadavu sapped Tavua’s strength in the first half by scoring five tries with three successful conversions to lead 31-0 at halftime.

Cavuru said it was do-or die effort from her players since it was the play-offs, where there would no second chance.

“We didn’t underestimate Tavua because we knew they were a strong team,” she said.

“We had improved on our mistakes and we played to our best. I thank the girls for their performance. We will keep lifting our performance for the semifinal, which is next weekend” she added.
