Fijian ambassador to the United Arab Emirates Naipote Katonitabua and his team from the Fijian embassy in Abu Dhabi paid a visit to the Fiji Sevens men’s and women’s team at the JW Marriot Hotelon Tuesday.
Katonitabua and his staff were accompanied by the UAE Fijian community executive members.
In his address Katonitabua wished both teams (men and Fijiana) the best in their upcoming back to back Dubai tournaments.

He encouraged the players that there was a time for everything and this was their time to shine with God as their guiding light and strength. He also reminded the players to remember the itatau and various last words of encouragement from their homes and families and to use these as motivation while representing their country in the two tournaments.
The group also presented their isevusevu and had brought assorted fruits for the players and management staff.
This was in addition to their generous donations of cartons of Fiji Water.
