Korovuto kingpin Rahul Aaron Kumar is aiming to spoil Junior Binnu Singh’s party in the Fijian Fly-weight title fight at Prince Charles Park in Nadi on Saturday.

Fireworks are expected in this bout, as the two are fighting under the Bula Events Banner.

Kumar has 12 fights under his belt, with three wins, eight losses and a draw since his pro debut.

“My preparation is good. My aim is to win the title,” Kumar said.

“This time I am coming to make a knockout, it will be a war and I am ready for war.”

On the other hand, his opponent Singh has been undefeated after five bouts since he turned pro in 2019. He also holds the bantamweight title after he defeated veteran Ritesh Gounder on points last month in Nadi.

“I am not underestimating my opponent Jnr Binnu Singh. My war is not against him,”Kumar said.

“I am still trying to figure out as where he has sprung from. He suddenly comes onto the scene and think he can come grab my title,” he said.

My message for him is to come prepared. Come stronger because this won’t be easy,” Kumar said.

He has been training under Chunchul Kumar Babba at the Mulomulo Boxing Club.

Bula Event promoter Alan Andrews said, “A lot has been said regarding the bout - the onus rests on the boxer themselves.”
