Veteran cruiserweight boxer Joseph Kwadjo is looking forward to his crunch fight against Fiji cruiserweight champion Alivereti Kauyaca on Saturday, March 2, at the FMF Gymnasium in Suva.

“My preparation has been good with help from fellow boxers like Winston Hill,” Kwadjo told SUNsports on Friday.

“Nothing has hindered my preparations as I train at the Box it Up Fitness Centre.”

Kwadjo said he has been receiving valuable tips from his team on how to counter Kauyaca, who is still unbeaten.

“I’m working on fine tuning my boxing technique against a tough opponent like Kauyaca.

“I have respect for Kauyaca as he is a good boxer and I hope we’ll give a good fight come March.”

Kwadjo has urged Suva fans to come out in numbers to support the Bluewater Boxing Promotions debut programme.

“I’m hopeful of a win against Kauyaca in the first boxing promotion of the year,” he said.
