Labasa continued their unbeaten run with a 2-1 win over Rewa in the quarterfinal of the Shree Sanatan Dharm Pratinidhi Sabha Interdistrict Championship at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka yesterday.
Rewa’s Patrick Joseph drew first blood before Labasa equalised through a penalty kick by Melvin Mani.
Labasa escaped with a goal from Jashnit Vikash during extra time.
Labasa also had the services brothers Anish Khem and Ashneel Raju.
Tournament coordinator, Joytish Singh said there were lots of excitement during the quarterfinals.
In the second quarterfinal Ravinesh Reddy scored Cuvu’s lone goal as they beat Tavarua/Varoka 1-0.
