Bad weather has affected Labasa’s preparation for tomorrow’s Vodafone Premier League showdown against Ba at Subrail Park.
This was confirmed yesterday by Labasa Football Association secretary Varun Anand who said players have not been turning up for training because of the weather conditions.
“The bad weather has also led to shortage of ground for us to train on,” he said.

“It has been raining heavily for the whole of this week and we are badly affected by it.”
On a positive note, he confirmed that striker Christopher Wasasala is going to play on Saturday.
Wasasala was serving a two-match ban for a red card offence.
But the Babasiga Lions are going to miss defender Ilisoni Lolaivalu who also copped a red card against Tavua last Saturday.
“We have many players in the reserves and surely we will get someone in. As for our match against Ba we can’t say much because they won their last game against Rewa and have finished playing in the O-League.
“They (Ba) will be giving us a hard time. We will try hard to win this match and we request our fans to come and support the players,” he added.
