The Labasa women’s team have fulfilled their goal to earn six points in their two Digicel Super Women’s League matches over the weekend.
They defeated Nadroga, 5-2 on Friday night and yesterday they wallop Tailevu/Naitasiri , 4-2.
The team was coached by Fiji Football Association North development officer Sanaila Bera in the absence of head coach Arthur Simmons, who is away in Taveuni.
And this Saturday they will play Suva at Subrail Park, Labasa.

“As for Tailevu/Naitasiri they were well prepared side after their big loss against Ba. They had a full team.”
Bera indicated that four of their key players are now in camp with the national women’s side.
They are captain, Jotivini Tabua, Sofi Diyalowai, Unaisi Tuberi and Anasimeci Volitikoro.
“Right now, we do not know if they will be released for next week’s game but we have our second squad who can fill in for these players,” he added.
Meanwhile, Rewa beat Suva 1-0 at the Fiji FA ground in Vatuwaqa, Suva.
Rewa’s goal was scored by Lora Bukalidi.
