Lack Of Sporting Facility Affects Badminton

The lack of sporting facilities has been one of the key issues faced by minority sports like badminton.

This was the view of Badminton Fiji president Barry Whiteside during the annual sports conference at the Harbour Point Convention Centre in Lami on Sat­urday.

“Badminton does not have a specific fa­cility so we relying on using facilities of the Fiji Sports Council and schools if we can in Suva; certainly, there are no bad­minton facility in the West,” he said.
