Lautoka Mid Fielder Radrigai Turns To Gardening

The 30-year-old said he has not received any news regarding training schedules if COVID-19 safety measures are lifted however he does sell produce from his plantation at the Lautoka market twice a week.

Lautoka mid fielder Dave Radrigai said he manages to provide for his family by doing casual jobs and tending to his plantation at his home in Waiyavi, Lautoka.

“I do some work like planting cabbage, cassava and corn,” he said

The 30-year-old said he has not received any news regarding training schedules if COVID-19 safety measures are lifted however he does sell produce from his plantation at the Lautoka market twice a week.

“I plant to sell these veggies and cassava for $10 a heap. I go two days a week but I sometimes don’t make that much.” he said.

Radrigai urged members of the public to adhere to public advisories and COVID-19 restrictions strictly.

“Just stay home, keep yourself fit ,eat healthy food and train if you can,” he said.
