Lote Tuqiri: 'Upgrade Rugby To Be Semi-Professional'

Fijian dual rugby international Lote Daulako Tuqiri believes that the Skipper Cup and Marama Cup competitions should be upgraded to semi-professional level.

This he says can contribute to strengthening the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua and Rooster Chicken Fijiana Drua competition and create a clear rugby pathway in getting the best of the crop for international games.

"I believe we should have that in the domestic competition but it all comes back to funding," Tuqiri said.
